Question about rent at apartment?
My fiance and I just recently moved into our first apartment, and our lease is up soon. Neither of us have had an apartment before, so we're really new to all of this. How much do landlords typically raise their rent? When we moved in, we agreed to pay $1,595 a month. I just looked on my complex's website at open units, and another apartment that is the exact same as ours is going for $1,890. So is that what they are going to raise it to? The amount we currently pay wasn't part of a move in special or anything- but I just don't see how they can raise it that much? I live in California- so prices are insane. But is that what they will raise it to? Or any ideas on how much rent typically goes up? Thanks guys!

What neighborhoods to apartment hunt in near hawaii pacific university?
Im moving to oahu, hawaii to attend hawaii pacific university. What neighborhoods should i start looking at apartments in? Id like no longer than a 20-25 minute drive. Also a bonus if you include neighborhoods/areas which are between hpu and u of hawaii. Im a mainlander and know nothing of the area. Also would prefer if the areas are not city center, like honolulu.

Why are guys so touchy feely?
My fiance and I have been together for almost 7 years. we are not married yet and do not live together. We both work and he works two jobs that are crazy hours so hardly get to spend any time together or never alone unless we are out to dinner or doing something.We do not have a "house " or place where we can go and just watch tv and spend alone time togheter. It SUCKS soo bad! Lately when we do see each other hes just all over me touching me and i just cant stand it! like wanting to touch my arm, hold my hand, ect. Its just driving me crazy. Today we went to look around at apartments and in the car he kept touching me and i got pissed off and told him to stop. He took offense to it and said that bc i cant stand it I don't love him anymore and hate him don't want to be with him and then he was like fine i dont wanna move in with you.. I am not a very affection person and he knows this. I like my personal space. How can i approach this without hurting his feelings?

Does anyone know anything about these Olympia, WA apartment complexes?
My mother and I are hoping to move to Washington state. We currently live in Kansas and simply cannot stand it here. We've been looking on the Internet at apartment complexes, and we came across 2 in Olympia that we like. One is called Talisman Apartments and the other is Breckenridge Apartments. On the website, they look great, but then I started reading reviews and most of them were negative.
Does anyone currently live in either of these places, or lived there previously? Are they really as bad as they sound?
*I'd like to clarify that it's Breckenridge Apartment Homes, and not Breckenridge Heights. I was unaware that there is a similarly named place. :)
