Flying first time!(Nervous)?
I am flying for the first time by myself Friday.. I am pretty nervous..
1. I am using an eticket from orbitz, all I need is the confirmation email with my id, is that correct?
2. I am bringing a duffle bag with my stuff. I am using continental airlines. Do they have any rules? All I am bringing is clothes, toothpaste, shampoo, contact case, contact solution, backup contacts, and phone charger.. Anything else I need?
3. Wouldn't I be able to carry my dufflebag with me on the airplane or do I have to give it I them?
4. I am bringing an iPod too? Anything else to pass time?
Thanks

Question for flight attendants.?
I love the airport atmosphere and being on planes. I would like to become a flight attendant for any airline on the weekends. Now my father works for Continental airlines and he says that in order to be a flight attendant for Continental on the weekends, I need to have been working for quite sometime already. I would like to know if that applies to all airlines? Just so you know I never worked in the airport before. So basically can I become a flight attendent on the weekends right away?

International to domestic connection at IAD Dulles airport! Help needed.?
I will be travelling from india to Columbia,South Carolina this summer,
My connecting flight is from India-->frankfurt-->IAD(dulles airport,Washington)-->Columbia (CAE).
and i will be back by same route.
As u can see,I will be connecting from my international(Lufthansa) flight to domestic (Continental Airlines )flight. My connection time for onward journey (India-->USA) is 3 hours at IAD and for return journey (USA-->India) is 1.5 hours at IAD.
My questions are:
Are these connection times enough or should i be worried(especially for return flight)?
While returning, will be baggage be checked in all the way to India or i'll have to claim and recheck in my baggage at IAD?
My whole booking is on a single ticket but the airlines are different as i mentioned(it does shows that they are code share flights).Does it change any situations?
thanks in advance.
