How much did ur wedding/marriage cost?
I was inspired by Wise Heart's question and was thinking how much everyone's wedding costed. Where did u hold it? If ur a woman, how much did u buy ur dress for? How much was ur dowry and gold? furniture? apartment?
if ur a man, how much damages were cause?lool
to make it short, just sum up the total of everything........... that's if u don't mind :D
Women, did u contribute with some of ur money/parents' money, or did u let ur husband take care of everything?
if ur not married yet, how do u plan ur wedding to be like? How much are u willing to spend.
Do you think it's a good idea to spend so much on weddings?
I know ppl will tell me to answer my own question, and I will but later
peace

Can anyone offer sound advice about taking in a stray housecat into an apartment?
I live in a one bedroom apartment (650 sq ft) in NYC with my wife. She has been feeding a stray cat at a park near her job, and she wants to take the cat into our home as a pet. It just recently started showing up at the park about 4 weeks ago. The cat seems friendly, as though it was a house cat (as opposed to a feral cat). It let's my wife freely pet its head. We've been discussing the possibility of bringing the cat into our home, but we have some concerns. Primarily, we both work full work days, Monday through Friday. She's out of the house from 7am to 5pm and I am out from 7:30am until 6pm. As it currently stands, the cat visits the park every afternoon, where my wife feeds it. We've asked around, and we know that some neighborhood kids have played with the cat and that on at least one other occasion, someone fed the cat besides us. If we take the cat into our home on a Sunday, is it safe to leave it alone in our apartment for 8 hours alone, five days in a row? Naturally, the first step would be to take the cat to the vet, so no need to discuss that step. I'm concerned that the cat may freak out and wreck our furniture/apartment if it is cooped up alone for so long.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Advice?
