Can I get a government grant to purchase property for real estate to sell?
I have an idea that I think could earn me a fortune but I'm not clear about if its possible. I have located many houses that are vacant either because of taxes or bank foreclosures. I like to get a government grant and purchase the properties and turn around and sell them. Is this possible or not.

Has anyone done the buying a house for $1000 thing?
We have all heard on TV that buy calling a number you can buy houses for like $1000. bank foreclosures,ext. I just wanted to know if anyone has ever done this? Is it for real? Any input will help thanks! ok, anyone with answers conserning MY question?

What happens with the deed after foreclosure?
My friend had his house to be taken by the bank (foreclosure). He still has his deed. I asked him if he has any documents that states that he no longer owns the house. He told me that the docs he has are just letters they (bank) sent to him stating when to vacate the house. Now state says that he needs to pay property tax on his former house. - How would he prove that he no longer owns the house? - How to get the state to remove that property from his tax records? - Can bank use money in the escrow account to cover their losses, instead of paying off property tax? Thanks.

Anybody have a deficiency judgment against them after a Bank Foreclosure?
We tried to Short Sale our home, twice, and both times the Bank denied it. They say our home is worth more than we got the offers for. Looks like Foreclosure is our only option.. Bank Of America.. grrr.. Anyone have a judgment against them after they got foreclosed on??? What happened? Oh yeah, I am in Florida :(

Bank foreclosure eviction.. Throw out on streets?
My sister lives in CA. Her landlord told her last month that she has to be out by the end of the month. She has 5 children and there is no other place available for rent in the area she is in and nowhere open till august. She just got served eviction papers yesterday. How long can she stay before they lock up and seize everything and throw them out on the streets? Moving towns isn't an option her husband owes 1 more yr to the state for his job..
