My DVD drive in my PC will not work (error code 19)?
Hey So my DVD drive is not recognized and when I go to the devise manager they show up but I get this code: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) I have tried pretty much everything that was recommended on Microsoft's website. There are some more advanced solutions but all of them say to only try this if you are running Windows Vista 32 bit I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit My drive is a Sony from 2006, it has always worked well in the past. I have had windows 7 installed for 6 months and this is the first time I have had a problem with it. I need to know what to do I have some CDs that I want to rip into iTunes that I cannot use until I get this fixed. thanks My System Home built Windows 7 Ultimate 1TB Samsung 7200 rpm Hard drive with a 32 MB cache 500 Watt Power supply Athlon 64X2 4400+ 4GB 400MHz DDR 1GB Radeon HD 6770 GDDR5 also, I have all of the software that I need to rip my CDs that is not the purpose of this question. the only answers that I have gotten so far have been completely irrelevant. and the reason I am asking for how to fix it myself is because I do not have money to take it to a computer shop.

What type of window should I replace my current crank out bathroom window?
I have a privacy bathroom crank out window that no longer opens and closes properly. I live in a Florida home built in 1958 and this is the original window. I'm thinking of replacing with a new window, but would like to keep the crank out style. Is that style recommended these days or should I look at something else? This bathroom window faces our backyard / pool area, so it definitely needs privacy. There are also several windows in a row - all crank out, so I don't want to put something in that will look weird next to the rest of the original crank out windows. (Or maybe I need to start replacing my other windows too?) I like the crank out style, but they seem hard to find. Lastly, this bathroom does not have an air vent, so this window functions as one when showering. Thanks
