Can you rent a house without a job?
I'm moving to the UK after living abroad for a few years and I won't have a job when I arrive. The thing is, I will need to rent a house but is anyone going to rent me a house without a job?
I will have savings, just no job to start with. Would showing a prospective landlord my bank statement be enough to get me a house rental?

Is it possible for me to ever own gun?
Im currently 33 years old California resident and was convicted of a felony when I was 18 for possession with the intent of sales of a controlled substance " methamphetamine" Which I had exsponged 5 years ago.. Before everyone bashes on me I was young and dumb and ive never been in trouble since.. Not even speeding tickets.. I'm a model citizen from head to toe! Own houses, rentals, pay taxes like everyone else.. Any ideas out there? And please only helpfull answers no need for talking smack about me! I know it was the stupidest thing I ever done! No need to remind me...

house rental expenses as income for tax purposes?
My husband works overseas for 10 months, so he won't qualify for foreign earned income exclusion. He's to be getting free housing, but his employer included the house payment equivalent to a thousand a month in his w2 as income. My question is, can we put a moving expenses deduction as lodging expense? or is there any way to make the rent as deduction? Please I need expert answers. Thanks a lot
But this isn't a job he got from the states and he has to go to another country. It's 2 different jobs. Does that make any difference?

How do I sue a vacation rental company that owes me $1000?
I put $1000 down on a beach house rental last May 2011 to Fun in the Sun Rentals. In December 2011 when I went to pay the balance in full I couldn't get a hold of the company. A quick search online for the name of the house brought me to a different rental company - Sun Palace Vacations, who is now the property manager. Worried Fun in the Sun had closed I contacted them. They informed me that the homeowner refused to work with Fun in the Sun and that without going into too much detail I should get my money back from them as fast as I can. I finally heard from Fun in the Sun and requested a full refund and cancellation of the property rental. I have a signed contract from them stating that if I cancel prior to 90 days before the rental dates I would get a full refund less $100 plus 11% tax for a total owed to me of $889. That was in the beginning of 2012 and I have not received anything. I have emails and voicemails from the owner telling me I would be getting a check in the mail but that is clearly not happening. I have also filed a complaint through the BBB - I am one of 9 people with active complaints against him. I want my money back and if there are any court costs I don't believe I should have to pay them as I have done nothing wrong so I guess if I did sue him I would want my money back plus court fees if that is possible. He won't return my calls and I don't know what else to do. What are my options, I have never sued anyone and would not even know where to start.
