Anyone here part exchanged their home with a builders when moving into a new build.?
I have a house and have bought a new one and they said they could part exchange the house for me. Is it worth it, if you sell your house yourself you get 10K off the house, but my selling costs are around £6k anyway. What do you think?? Is it a con? The builder's is Bryant (quite a reputable company)

If selling your house yourself, which is the best valued "buyhome.com" web site to get listed on MLS?
We have had three realtors try their best at selling our house. We have lowered it from $359,000. all the way to $280,000. Bottom line would be $275,000. Fair market value is $320,000. I'm just sick of mowing two lawns...etc. With this in mind, we would like to sell it by ourselves because it looks like the market is more price driven than market driven. What is the best web site that sells access to MLS? Thank you, and sorry Realtors.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of selling your house yourself and not using a realtor?
I'm getting ready to sell my house. Should I use a realtor or sell it myself? Advice? I have an attorney who is willing to help me if I try and sell it myself. Total cost for time and paperwork is $500. Good deal or no?

How hard is it to sell your house yourself?
I know that the market is bad right now, but my neighborhood is getting bad and overrun with teenage kids that are bringing down the property value. I want to get out while we still can make something off of it. We just moved in last October. We paid $165,000 and we are looking at one that is $220,000. Is it worth it to try and sell it ourselves and what would the approximate monthly payment be. Currently we pay about $1200 a month. We put nothing down on the first house with 30 year fixed at 6.25%. We hope we can sell our house for $180,000. I know it is alittle broad subject, but any help would be great.

Please only respond if you have tried to sell your house yourself...Flat fee? Mls? Lawyer? Useful websites? Please do not just say use a Realtor. That is not helpful. What is the lowest commission to offer on MLS? Do I have to even state one? Can it be negotiable? Thank..
