Do you rent your house (NOT an apartment/condo) but a Single Family house ?
Does the owner or real estate agent always show it to potential buyers ? I see alot of homes for rent by owner or an agent , and I would think that while its nice thought that you have a house , dont they show the house constantly to buyers ? The reason they rent it is because they cannot find a buyer , right ? So dont they show it whenever they want ? That is the only thing that deters me from renting a house or townhouse, I would hate strangers coming and going when your not home. Thats the thing I would like to rent a house like that for years , as long as they do not show the house to buyers every week. I know its like "throwing money out" because I would never own it , but realistically I will never have enough for a down payment and the credit needed to get a house on my own anyway. So yeah the owner gets his money, I get a house to live in , I just dont want to deal with the owner showing the house every week or whenever. Yeah NoNo that would be what I want , to rent the house for long term.Guess it all comes down to what the owner wants to do with it.Thanks

Good and affordable rental communities in central CT?
I'm planning on moving to the state and I've been looking for affordable and nice townhomes/condos/apartments in central CT, mostly no more than 40min from Meriden (but NOT Meriden). Currently I rent a spacious two bedroom 1.5 bath with my own private entrance, washer/dryer and quiet well maintained community. I know this is not the only place in the world like this and I don't want to sacrifice the above details in my next home, however, what I've found in CT is wayyyy expensive! I'm hoping to pay no more than $1200 and I don't mind nice homes for rent by owner, but considering the many months before my move, I'd like well established rental properties that I'd still have a chance at in the future. I would be open to buying had I saved any money for a down payment!

Where can i find a legit website/place to find homes for rent by owner.?
I have been looking on craigslist for months and cant seem to find a legit add on there, every single one has been a scam. i have also literally drove around my neighborhoods that i would like to live in and looked for for rent signs, no luck there either. i feel out of options and id like some opinions. thanks
