What do I do with a new house that I hate???
My husband and I just bought our first home and moved in last week. We are 30 and pregnant with our 2nd, and have been house hunting for the past 3 years. We haven't been able to find what we like in our price range. We found a house for sale by owner, within our budget, and well taken care of. New roof, solid house, built in 1952. Just a little out of date cosmetically. No problem , I thought, just some paint and maybe new carpet. Besides, it is right next to a great school, and we wouldn't be throwing our money away on rent anymore. We moved in last week. Problem is, I HATE IT!!!!! It's not like our new apartment we had lived in before. The updating is taking more time and money than I thought, and I am having a really hard time dealing with my house "undone" until we are thru. I think it will turn out ok eventually, but right now I'm hating being a home owner!!! I miss my apartment and want to sell this thing ASAP. How long do I have to wait to put it back on the market????? HELP
