How can the Democrats get their messages out better since we have all this aforementioned below against us?
I am a Professor of Meteorology at Texas A&M University, before that I was the head director for the National Weather Service - Houston Texas Region. I am sick of the loud mouthed breeding morons who seem to scream the loudest getting all of the attention. I do not throw dead babies into republican politicians hands, or vote against all my values/ beliefs/ paychecks just because I hate a certain race of people. Most Americans are much smarter than this. However, the Democrats do not seem to be getting the message out to the people due to the Right Wing Media influence, and it is not just limited to Fox News or all of Talk Radio. Having lived my entire life in the South and lived thru the Civil Rights Era, and vividly remembering the Southern Stragety which the GOP implemented to get Nixon elected - using ignorant racist whites and ravaging the flames of the Newly Passed Civil Rights Acts. While we are making headway and I have no doubt that in 20 years, children then will look back on these days and say what they say about african americans "what was the problem", it seems progress is slow.
