Anyone have experience with flying United Airlines? How bad is it?
I flew Jetblue before, and the experience was wonderful. But now I *have* to fly United, I have no other choice...and was just wondering if it's really as bad as people say it is? Actually, yeah I AM being forced. If you can't answer the question, then don't answer please.

What counts as a diaper bag on a plane?
I am flying American Airlines to NYC and United Airlines back. Both of their websites say that I am allowed a diaper bag as I am traveling with an infant. I usually use a backpack as a diaper bag (instead of an actual diaper bag). Will they count this as a diaper bag? I will be carrying a carryon bag and a purse as well and want to make sure my backpack/diaper bag will be ok.

Credit Card Miles Question?
I have one credit card that I rarely use. I have excellent credit. I am thinking about getting a CC from United Airlines to earn miles (points?) for a trip I am planning in 2013. I have a few questions, maybe some of you can help? What sort of conversion rate is used? I mean, say you spend XXXX dollars. You earn miles from those purchases? Eventually does 10000 miles become 10 points which becomes 50 cents? Do the credit card companies disqualify some purchases? Can I pay all my bills with my CC and earn miles/points based on the dollar figures or do they watch what's being charged to the card (I assume they do this)? Can I put my mortgage payment on the card? It's not much but it would be good for a grand a month hahaha? TIA

Should I turn down the job offer?
I got a job offer as a Process Improvement Engineer Intern for United Airlines making $1500 per week, with a $1500 sign on bonus. However, I cannot recieve the sign-on bonus until 2-3 weeks of my employment. I would need to relocate to Chicago, but I have literally no money especially since I needed to pay my last installment on my school tuition. Should I turn it down since I can't afford to move from Denver to Chicago? I did, but they can't do much about it since thier payroll system doesn't release money to non-employees. So I have to wait 2-3 weeks until I can get that sign on bonus.
